Account details such as your name, email address and sign-in method.
The tasks you create, the files you upload, and the files, messages and results the agent produces while working for you.
Basic technical and usage data, such as device type, app version and which features you use, so we can keep the service running and improve it.
How we use information
To carry out the tasks you ask for, keep your account secure, provide support and understand which parts of the product are working.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the content of your tasks or files to train models.
Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete a task, a file or your account, we remove the related data within a reasonable period unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
You can review, export or delete your tasks and files from the app, disconnect services at any time, and close your account from settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights to access, correct or object to the processing of your information.
Security
Each task runs in an isolated environment, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the agent asks for your approval before sensitive actions.
Children
Backboard is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
