Your account

You need an account to use most of Backboard. Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13 years old.

Using the agent

Backboard acts on your instructions. You are responsible for the tasks you give it and for reviewing what it produces before you rely on it.

Do not use Backboard to break the law, harm others, get around security measures, or access accounts and systems you are not allowed to use.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload and of the results the agent creates for you. You give us permission to store and process that content only as needed to run the service.

Plans, credits and payment

Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. Credits are used as tasks run and do not carry over between billing periods unless your plan says otherwise.

You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Backboard available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or retire features, and will give notice of significant changes.

Disclaimers and liability

Backboard is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending these terms

You can stop using Backboard and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will explain why when we can.
